BSc. in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Experience :
Minimum 5 years of experience in the MEP Field,
minimum 2 years out of which in Fire Alarm and Fire
Fighting field including the following experiences
1. Specialist in Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm Systems
installation process and knowledge of required
materials like pipes, fittings, supports, hangers,
cables, conduits, …etc.
2. Knowledge of NFPA codes, Local authority
requirement, International concern standards like
British Standard, ASTM …etc.
3. Familiar with the components of the Sprinkler
system, Foam system, Pre-action and Water
deluge system, Fire Fighting system, Clean Agent
(FM-200) system, Fire Alarm System, Voice
Evacuation systems and similar.
4. experience in people management
5. Skills in meeting negotiations and satisfaction
argumentations.
Excellent computer skills
Fluent in English

Job Description:

Responsibilities will include but not limited to the
preparation of the following:
Planning, scheduling, conducting and
coordinating the technical and management
aspect of the project
Reviewing the contract terms, specifications,
quotation, submittals and approvals.
Reviewing the Design drawings and any other
engineering deliverables and approvals
Preparing Site progress reports as well as all the
necessary project documentation that might
include method statements etc...
Supervise a group of projects and ensure that the
workmanship standards are achieved.
Distribute the work and give necessary
instructions to his team to execute the work in
accordance with the project schedule and the
approved drawings.
Follow up for all the site requirements such as
(installation materials, equipment, tools etc.).
Prepare Projects Quality Plans.
Ensure prompt preparation and submission of
progress claim- including claim for variation- and,
if required provide justification of the claims.
Ensure timely hand-over (delivery) of project.
Reviews to all clients correspondence and
preparing the required replies.
Participating in Client/contractor meetings and
resolving Client and management project issues.
Extensive regular contact with the assigned
project client representative.
Review the nature of non-conformities detected at
sites and prepares a report with proposed
solutions.
Prepare and submit report to the projects
manager for work progress status on a regular
basis and as required.
