Job Description:
Conduct site surveys and security assessments
Determine electronic and physical security
requirements for new construction and
renovation projects
Determine electroni c and physical security
requirements based upon client requireme nts or
assessments conducted by others
Design and engineer complex com puter based
electronic security systems
Review construction docum ents for physical and
electronic security implications
Prepare project documents, sco pes of work, and
engineering specifications for physical and
electronic security projects
Prepare, track, and update project schedules
using scheduling software such as MS Project s
Prepare project engineering drawings using
software such as AutoCAD or Micro Station
Assist in the development of physical and
electronic security standards, policies, and
guidelines
Conduct q uality assurance inspections of contract
work (performed by others)
Develop cost estimates for e lectronic and physical
security projects Prepare project status report
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science
3-5 years’ experience (IPCCTV, Access contro l,
Networking skills and Milestone recording
software)
CCNA is a plus
Project Manage ment training conducted in a
formal setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Project, Word,
Excel, and Power Point equivalent to interme diate
level certification
Electronics knowl edge sufficient to read and
develop electronic security system schematic s
and trouble shoot electronic security systems
Knowledge of computer networking equivalen t to
Cisco’s Networking Fundamentals Version 4.0
Proficiency with electronic and networking
troubleshooting tools such as an OTDR, ligh t
source and power meter, multi-meter, and
oscilloscope
Ability to rea d and interpret facility construction
drawings
Familiarit y with Federal regulations governing the
protection of facilities, personnel, classified
information, and other assets
Excellent verbal and written co mmunication skills
in English and Arabic.
Physical security train ing conducted in a formal
setting
