Job Description:

Testing installations, materials and works right
from the briefing meeting stage through the
design, development and construction stages to
final installation.
Provide required technical and Administrative
reports on progress and quality of works and
materials in compliance with the set standard and
terms.
Assure statistical Data and information is being
captured for future reference and database
buildup.
Maintains Vendor/Supplier Material Lists in terms
of Types, Prices, trends, use for future database
build up and reference, participating in process
and cost optimization and quality assurance.
Monitor the installation of the Mechanical,
Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning
elements of the unit.
Review designs produced by Consultants. Review
and initiate the approval of the Bill of Quantity
(BOQ).
Review materials being recommended for
suitability and on delivery to site, in full
compliance with the RFP and BOQ.
Evaluate engineering proposals and shop
drawings and prepare comments about
mechanical engineering practice and
conformance to established design and safety
criteria. Discuss with Design Team Engineer as
necessary.
Consider implications of issues such as cost,
safety, quality and time constraints. Timely
reporting of issues is critical.
Write and Issue schedule reports and works on
time.
Prepare project cost and work-time estimates.
Plan, schedule and monitor all work undertaken
by Contractors, in full alliance with the planning
manager and site Engineer.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design
and installation of the mechanical works and
materials in the field of construction, contracting
or real estate.
Proficient in related software (AutoCAD, 3D Max,
Photoshop etc.)
Skills
Excellent Knowledge of Design
Excellent Knowledge of Mechanical standards
Knowledge of local agency standards
Risk Analysis and Management
Planning, forecasting and scheduling skills –
Resource estimation
Excellent verbal and written skills (fluent in Arabic,
good ability in English)
