Job Description
A leading Electrical Contracting company Located in Dammam - KSA is seeking to hire the following position:
Job Title: Safety Officer / Safety Engineer
Number of Vacancies: 3
Job Description:
• Co-ordinate for the implementation of the Safety/ Loss Prevention Program to the entire satisfaction of the client.
• Maintain an administrative system for the statistical recording of safety performance and monitoring activities related to the Safety/Loss Prevention Programs.
• Maintain a close liaison with the Project Management Dept. and Client’s Loss Prevention Division.
• Assess potential hazards associated with the completion of the work activities and recommend remedial measures.
• Carry out regular safety inspections and audits of the Company. activities monitor the implementation of recommendations.
• Communicate and promote Safety and Health through publications, training and appropriate Safety Meetings to ensure employee participation in safety matters.
• Assess the requirements and ensure the provision and maintenance of safety, firefighting and protective equipment.
• Act as Project Emergency Coordinator.
• The Safety Engineer ensures that adequate fire protection measures are in place for the safety of the occupiers. Inspections of the facilities are periodically carried out by the Safety Engineer and records maintained.
• Conducts investigations and prepares detailed reports on personal injury, fires, property damage, Monthly Vehicle Accidents and near miss incidents.
• Acts as advisor to the Construction Groups on client’s safety requirements for any particular job activity.
• Sets a personal example on Health, Safety and environmental matters.
• To ensure that all the safety program to be implemented on the project are approved by client.
• To ensure that no short methods are adopted during the course of execution in violation of clients safety standards.

•Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Construction Projects.
•Type of executed projects : Substation Construction Projects
•Excellent communication skills.
•V.Good English command
Ideal candidate(s) should have a significant experience in the following:
•EPC Contracting for the Construction & Reinforcement of MV/HV/EHV Substations
•High Voltage Cabling
•Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Major Power Equipment
•O & M of Power Plants & Substations
•The Applicant Must be certified ( Nebosh - Osha )
•Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Construction Projects.
•Type of executed projects : Substation Construction Projects
•Excellent communication skills.
•V.Good English command
