Job Description
Reporting:
Develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the Company’s portfolio of businesses.
Routinely communicate business unit and company consolidated financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics. Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications. Coordinate the capital spending review process for the company.
Responsible for financial analysis in areas like Sales, Margin, Inventory, Store space, etc. on periodical basis and prepare the analytical reports for Management action.
Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
Gather and analysis competitor's data and financial results and prepare key performance indicators to senior managers.
Standardize and improve the reporting process and implement and administer changes to internal reporting systems.
Liaise with business operational management to assess financial metrics, reporting needs and requirements
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance in the financial and operational data.
Responsible for the issuance of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial reports ( IS, BS and Cash Flow)
Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports
Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
Coordinate, develop and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process.
Implement the latest industry benchmarks in preparation of reports and analysis in areas such as Budgets,

Job Skills
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
7-10 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning and Reporting (Managerial Accounting), accounting background is a must.
Advanced analytic and financial modeling skills
Strong leadership skills required. Experience in multi-unit retailers concepts preferred
Advanced Microsoft office skills.
Highest standards of accuracy and precision and highly organized.
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think creatively, result oriented and highly-driven and self-motivated
Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
Must work well independently and in a team environment
Ability to promote and participate in cross functional teams, mainly Operations, Accounting, Commercial, supply chain and executive management.
Must be able to challenge and make recommendations in a productive manner
