Job Description
A multinational professional services organization serving global and national organizations and Located in Qatar required for their Accounting & Finical services the following position:
Job Title: Cost Accountant
Job Summary:
Accountable for ongoing analysis of process, construct and monitor those
Cost-effective data accumulation systems of the department regarding GL, fixed assets register, and treasury management.
Job Description:
•Preparing cost trending & forecasting analysis for project costs, communicating these to all related parties, highlighting concerns and heeds, recommending necessary measures, actions and methods
•Preparing regular monthly reports and reviews of projects cost performance, providing all concerned parties with regular feedback and advice.
•Participating in regular meetings for reviewing project progress and current cost position.
•Preparing variance analysis and ensuring that techniques are applied Properly on; variable costs, fixed costs, variance analysis, capacity variance analysis, overheads variance analysis, water & electricity purchased units variance analysis ...etc .
•Preparation of the monthly, quarterly & periodically financial management reports.
•Maintaining Cost Accounting System
•Authorizes and provides cost information to Senior Management.
•Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
•Analyzing data collected and recording results
•Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
•Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports
•Represents Costing Section for the meetings of Costing, Pricing and analysis.
•Performs other duties as assigned or required feedback and advice.

Job Skills
•Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
•Minimum of 3-4 years' experience as an accountant with a recognized firms
•Experience in assisting in developing budgeting plans at a complex organization
•Highly numerate, with developed analytical skills using qualitative and quantitative data.
•Computer skills including proficiency in common word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs.
•Should be bi-lingual with mastery of written and spoken Arabic and English
