Experience in Middle East and in family business

Able to communicate fluently in English and

Job Description:

Responsible for the overall cost management and
performance of the manufacturing division in
alignment with the commodity SBU strategic plan,
under delegated authority from the SBU MD.
Overseeing all the operations of the
manufacturing division to ensure low cost
manufacturing, optimal inventory management,
product quality, service and cost-effective
management of resources. The key responsibility
of this position is to service the needs of the sales
division at the lowest cost.
Responsible for the budget of the entire
manufacturing division all the employees in the
manufacturing division
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Strat egy and Planning
Assist the SBU MD in developing the long term
SBU strategic plan.
Cascade the SBU strategic plan into a
manufacturing divisional strategic plan.
Oversee the preparation of annual plans of the
companies in the manufacturing division
Prepare annual business plan for the
manufacturing division.
Identify new investment opportunities including
expanding capacity in existing plants,
Audits and carries out a portfolio review of all
companies in the manufacturing division
Transition current independent companies into a
long term, stable and viable SBU manufacturing
division
Manufacturing Operations Management
Manufacturing Financial Management
Manage the overall costs of the manufacturing
division
Monitor financial KPIs (e.g. divisional revenues,
divisional profitability etc.) closely to ensure
overall financial health of the manufacturing
division
Manage the manufacturing division’s expenditure
within the annual approved budget
Assist the SBU MD and the SBU finance function
in developing a financing strategy to meet the
requirements of the strategic and investment plan
for the manufacturing division
Organization, Culture & People
Hire, lead, and manage human resources in the
manufacturing division’s organization (direct
reports).
Oversee the implementation of the performance
management system and incentive system to
motivate employees in the manufacturing division
R elationship with SBU MD
Ensure timely reporting to the SBU MD on
progress against the annual business plan
Report divisional KPIs to the SBU MD as defined in
the KPI dashboard
Obtain approval and seek financial assistance
from the SBU MD to execute the divisional
investment plan
Provide the SBU MD with thorough and accurate
information
Identify possible investment opportunities for the
SBU MD/SBU Strategy and New Business
Development Function, in line with the SBU
Strategic plan
