Job Description:

Financial Control, Bookkeeping, Claims Review and
Adjusting, Collections, Corporate Accounting, Corporate
Finance, Credit Review-Analysis, Financial Analysis-
Research-Reporting within the following :
Provide business and financial leadership under
the CFO supervision to extra decision making and
execute focused effort (on partnership basis with
all functions) to deliver company’s short-mediumlong
term business goals and objectives in Profit,
Cost, Controls and Organization.
Implement corporate finance strategy and
appropriate financial models to allow the group to
achieve its ambitious goals.
Manage and monitor comprehensive financial
management of the companies including
responsive accounting, financial planning,
budgeting, and controls and reporting processes
to protect the company’s assets and achieve
business objectives.
Establish & maintain strong and top-notch
Finance organization capable of supporting the
company’s growth and expansion plans.
Develop and recommend financial procedure,
policies & standards, to ensure the business is
financially robust and objectives are achieved.
Lead the cash management operations of the
business to ensure strong cash flow and treasury
management practices are in place. Plan and
direct capital appropriations/investments
according to the approved strategies.
Recommends action plans for handling Mergers,
Acquisitions & new businesses operations from
Finance perspective and ensure best return on
investment results.
People & Leadership:
Execute company financial strategies and plans
based on corporate vision, mission, values and
objectives.
Provide leadership, empower and build the
capability of the staff in the Finance team, pave
the way for their growth and ensure adequate
succession cover. Improve financial capability of
all non-finance managers.
Oversee the recruitment of staff for the finance
department.
Monitor and appraise all reporting managers
through planned objective setting and targets.
Effectively contribute to the formulation of the
business objectives of the company and develop
annual / medium term financial plans to achieve
approved objectives. Presenting the Budget and
BPE to CFO & COO/CEO and coordinate their
communication process.
Control
Manage Internal Controls procedures & processes
to improve organizational effectiveness,
safeguard company’s assets and protect our
employees, with the highest primary exposure
areas “Cash and Stocks”.
Implement financial policies/procedures to
enhance overall profitability for the company.
Establish control objectives and initiate efficient /
applicable accounting processes and
organizational controls including administrative &
financial authorities to meet control objectives.
Recommend stock control improvement
opportunities, through highlighting deviations &
violations, timely reporting of stocks levels, shrink,
damages & mark downs, and effectively
participate in physical count / Cycle count plans.
Support the achievement and implementation of
the company’s strategies/business plans through
effective financial analysis, action oriented,
accurate & timely financial reporting, control
spending within the budget, highlight deviations
versus plans and support the management team
to achieve business objectives, including new
initiatives and business opportunities.
Provide an update on the operating performance
of the Finance department to the CFO.
Liaise with other departments to ensure excellent
internal communications.
T echnical/Merchandising:
Meet the statutory requirements and ensure
accurate consolidation, presentation and auditing
of the company’s financial reporting to acceptable
international standards in collaboration with
external auditors.
Effectively manage the working capital (stocks,
payables & receivables) to minimize interest
expenses and improve net profit.
Direct and supervise the daily operations of the
Finance, Accounting, Treasury and Management
reporting functions.
Lead the cash management operations of the
business to ensure strong cash flow and treasury
management practices are in place. Develop
relationships with the banks in order to provide
the company with broad and solid range of
financing options.
Manage and monitor the identification of new
financial/accounting software systems which
could enhance or replace existing systems.
Lead the development/implementation of
appropriate IT in the finance function within the
approved IT strategy.
Preparation of monthly financial statements and
submit to CGO (Income Statement, Balance Sheet
and Cash Flow etc..) and ensure all the statements
are prepared according to generally accepted
accounting principles.
Establish professional business financial
relationship with suppliers, honor our
commitment, maximize payment terms for cash
management & effectively support purchasing
department in managing the products cost/price
to maximize our margins.
Recommend “Cost Savings projects”, to achieve
and exceed the company’s profit objectives.
Manage the Non-Product Corporate Purchasing
department, with right and effective competitive
bidding practices and customer satisfaction, to
capture the best value for 
the company for all
non-product purchases.
