equipment and computer systems
To be fully conversant with all hotel policy and
procedures.
To be aware at all times of the hotel status.
Check correspondence and allocate rooms
Greet and check –in, issue key and key card
Computer input
Take payments and receipting.
Assists in reservation, amendments, cancellations,
quires and correspondence.
Filling – correspondence , registrations cards etc.,
Preparing mis-en-place for next day shifts (nights)
Housekeeping – to ensure rooms are always
available and that information is handed to them
such as VIP arrivals.
All departments – to ensure timeless information
flow
Communicate, co-operate with other hotel
departments as required
