Job Description:

  • To receive guests, prepare accounts, take payment and attend to quest requirements
  • To be fully conversant with all the front office equipment and computer systems
  • To be fully conversant with all hotel policy and procedures.
  • To be aware at all times of the hotel status.
  • Check correspondence and allocate rooms
  • Greet and check –in, issue key and key card
  • Computer input
  • Take payments and receipting.
  • Assists in reservation, amendments, cancellations, quires and correspondence.
  • Filling – correspondence , registrations cards etc.,
  • Preparing mis-en-place for next day shifts (nights)
  • Housekeeping – to ensure rooms are always available and that information is handed to them such as VIP arrivals.
  • All departments – to ensure timeless information flow
  • Communicate, co-operate with other hotel departments as required

Job Requirements:

  • BCs or High school certificate would be accepted.
  • 0-1 years of experience as receptionist in any 4 or 5 star hotel with knowledge of Opera soft ware.
  • Fluency in English
  • MS Office professional
