Job Description:

  •  Identify, develop, and mentor people for future promotion
  • Ensure that everyone in the store understands their role in creating success for the store
  • Provide direction to all reports on day to day issues
  • Conduct weekly meetings with Zone Supervisors and Assistant Store Manager (collectively and individually) to discuss accountabilities and for brilliant execution
Employees Management:
  • Ensure the execution of ongoing performance management and formal semiannual appraisal
  •  Maintain ongoing system for recruitment, development, recognition and retention of front-line management and all employees to maintain workforce stability
  • Work with front-line management and Human Resources to create and maintain an environment for successful human resource management and high performance
    Employees Development:
  • Coach all reports for long term personal and business success
  • Continually seeks to improve associates’ engagement at all levels, actively develops and coach leaders within the store
  Customer Experience:
  • Achieve or exceed customer service standards, both internal and external. Ensure customer relations policies and procedures are being followed. Ensure departments are scheduling employees according to business needs
 Security and Safety:
  • Ensure that all employees are afforded a healthy and safe working environment
  •  Report and follow up on preventative maintenance plans and activities. Ensure that the overall look of the store adds to the customers positive shopping experience
Company Communication:
  • Communicate company and store objectives to all employees
    Financial Accountability:
  • Achieve financial objectives e.g. sales, net contribution, shrink, clearance, imports, accessories, services, cost control
  • Achieve or exceeds budgeted profit goals. Provide input into budget development. Analyze profit and loss statements for opportunities to improve results
  •  Use financial reports to analyze, identify, and prioritize negative store trends
   Operational Standards Implementation:
  •  Achieve store compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P)
 Merchandising Standards and Selling
  • Execute marketing and merchandising programs and standards
  • Assess store requirements for new product rollouts/procedures. Provide input into budget development and feedback on marketing and merchandising programs. Oversee inventory levels and overall presentation of merchandise
  • Understand and respond to competitive pressures in your store area; recommend strategies to the business as required e.g. pricing, category analysis or expansion
  • Evaluate success of merchandising programs and escalate issues to appropriate person(s)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree from a reputable university
  •  10 years + in  Electronics Retail / Hyper.
  • Arabic and English Proficiency.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Must have strong skills in: Leadership, Initiative Taking, Problem Solving, Communication and working effectively with others
